1. Eligibility
NHSCC membership is open to individuals and organizations with a genuine interest in healthcare supply chain in India. We welcome:
- Healthcare Supply Chain Professionals: Individuals working in procurement, logistics, inventory management, distribution, or supply chain operations within healthcare organizations.
- Manufacturers: Representatives from pharmaceutical, medical device, and healthcare product manufacturing companies.
- Distributors: Wholesale distributors, third-party logistics providers, and supply chain intermediaries serving the healthcare sector.
- Technology Providers: Vendors offering software, platforms, or technology solutions for healthcare supply chain management.
- Academics & Researchers: Faculty, researchers, and students with an interest in healthcare supply chain, logistics, or related disciplines.
- Students: Students pursuing degrees or certifications in supply chain, pharmacy, healthcare management, or related fields who wish to engage with the industry.
Membership is subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with our code of conduct. NHSCC reserves the right to decline or revoke membership where eligibility criteria are not met.
2. Registration Process
To become an NHSCC member, follow the registration process outlined below:
- Online Registration Form: Complete the membership registration form on our website with your name, email address, phone number, organization details, and professional designation.
- OTP Verification: Verify your email and phone number through one-time password (OTP) sent to your registered contact details. This helps us ensure authenticity and prevent misuse.
- Profile Completion: Complete your member profile with relevant professional information, including organization type, role, and areas of interest. A complete profile enhances networking and directory visibility.
- Admin Review: Our team reviews registration details for accuracy and eligibility. Most applications are approved within 1–3 business days. You will receive an email confirmation upon approval.
If your application requires additional information, we will contact you via email. Incomplete or inaccurate applications may be delayed or declined.
3. Membership Tiers
NHSCC currently offers the following membership structure:
- General Member (Free): Our primary membership tier, available at no cost. General members receive all basic benefits including access to events, resources, the knowledge hub, networking opportunities, career postings, and YouTube content. There are no dues or fees for General Membership.
- Future Premium Tiers: NHSCC may introduce premium membership tiers in the future with additional benefits such as exclusive workshops, priority event registration, or enhanced directory visibility. Any new tiers will be announced in advance, and existing General Members will have the option to upgrade voluntarily.
4. Member Responsibilities
As an NHSCC member, you are expected to:
- Accurate Profile Information: Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in your member profile. Misrepresentation of identity, organization, or professional credentials may result in account suspension or termination.
- Professional Conduct: Engage with fellow members, event speakers, and NHSCC staff in a respectful and professional manner. Harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior is not tolerated.
- Active Participation: While not mandatory, active participation in events, discussions, and community initiatives is encouraged. Your engagement enriches the community and maximizes the value of your membership.
- Compliance with Code of Conduct: Abide by the NHSCC Code of Conduct and all applicable membership policies. Violations may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.
5. Profile Visibility
Your member profile visibility is under your control:
- Opt-In Public Directory: Participation in the public member directory is optional. You choose whether your name, designation, organization, and other profile details appear in the directory visible to other members or the public.
- Control What’s Visible: You can select which profile fields are visible to others. Some information (e.g., email) may remain private by default.
- Hide Anytime: You can change your visibility settings at any time through your member dashboard. Hiding your profile from the directory does not affect your membership or access to benefits.
6. Benefits & Access
NHSCC members enjoy the following benefits:
- Events: Access to webinars, workshops, summits, and networking events at member rates or free of charge where applicable.
- Resources: Downloadable guides, whitepapers, templates, and industry reports from our resource library.
- Networking: Opportunities to connect with peers, industry leaders, and potential collaborators through events and the member directory.
- Knowledge Hub: Access to curated articles, case studies, and insights on healthcare supply chain best practices.
- Career Opportunities: Job postings and career resources relevant to healthcare supply chain roles.
- YouTube Features: Access to NHSCC’s YouTube channel content, including event recordings, interviews, and educational videos.
Benefits are subject to change. Significant changes will be communicated to members in advance.
7. Communication Preferences
We communicate with members through email and, where applicable, SMS:
- Email Newsletters: Periodic newsletters with updates on events, resources, and industry news. You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in each email.
- Event Alerts: Notifications about upcoming events, registration deadlines, and reminders. You can opt out of event marketing while still receiving essential event confirmations for events you have registered for.
- Opt Out Anytime: You may adjust your communication preferences in your member dashboard. Unsubscribing from marketing emails does not affect your membership.
- Essential Account Emails: We will always send essential account-related emails (e.g., password resets, security alerts, important policy changes) even if you have opted out of marketing. These cannot be disabled.
8. Account Management
You can manage your membership through your member dashboard:
- Profile Updates: Update your name, organization, designation, bio, and other profile information at any time. Keeping your profile current helps with networking and directory accuracy.
- Password Changes: Change your password through the dashboard or the “Forgot Password” flow. We recommend using a strong, unique password.
- Account Deactivation Request: If you wish to leave NHSCC, you may request account deactivation. Contact us at membership@nhscc.in. Deactivation will remove your access to member benefits. Your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Data Protection policy.
9. Suspension & Termination
NHSCC may suspend or terminate membership in the following circumstances:
Grounds for Action:
- Code of Conduct Violation: Breach of the NHSCC Code of Conduct, including harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior.
- Inaccurate Information: Providing false or misleading information in registration or profile, or impersonating another person or organization.
- Inactivity: Accounts inactive for more than 2 years may be flagged for review. We may contact you to confirm continued interest before taking any action.
Process:
- For most violations, NHSCC will issue a warning and an opportunity to rectify the issue before suspension or termination.
- In cases of serious violation, immediate suspension or termination may be applied.
- Members have the right to appeal within 30 days of receiving a suspension or termination notice. Appeals should be sent to membership@nhscc.in with a clear explanation. The NHSCC team will review and respond within 15 business days.
